Starkey Halo 2

I will be receiving a pair of Starkey Halo 2 HA's in a few days. I am currently using a Plantronics BT Headset and really never hold the phone and talk. Can someone explain the 'Live Microphone', is this on the HA or is this the iPhone mike?

It is on the Halo 2 and is their technology. They probably store the audio clips on their app on the iPhone.
